Siquijor

Back in Manila after a wonderful five-day sojourn down south. My Mum has come for a flying visit and so we escaped the big city and headed to the idyllic island of Siquijor. We stayed at the very lovely Coco Grove resort where we relaxed on their beach sipping papaya shakes (breaking the mould from the usual mango shake!)

Every morning and evening we dined on the beach looking out across the sea to the islands of Negros and Mindanao in the distance.


We did some great day trips- one exploring the island in our very own jeepney where we saw chuches, waterfalls and village life. Another day we took a boat trip to the beautiful Apo Island, a marine reseve with the most amazing fish and corals to discover. A pretty perfect holiday!
