Avocado icecream anyone?

Yesterday I indulged in some Avocado icecream... it is actually much more delicious then it sounds! Avocado is just one of many new icecream flavours that I have found in the Philippines.

The Good: Coconut, Lychee and Mango (mmmm)
The Bad: Ube and Cheese

Ube is a bright purple yam and once you get over the colour factor it is quite edible. However I am still to be convinced about the merits of cheese as an icecream ingredient. The first time I tried it I thought it was mango and so took a big mouthful...the taste was all wrong and got worse once I discovered the squares of processed cheese embedded inside-eek. Think I'll stick to using cheese as a sandwich filler and pizza topping.
